I love virtual DJ but setting up a laptop and controller at every gig was killing me. My doctor said to stop... No way!
I chose to go lighter... For a 1 hour show I'm not going to bug the outgoing DJ setting my shit up and like the incoming DJ when I'm packing out. For 10m..
DJ from a mobile phone, Aptx Bluetooth link gets me ner 60m range... Good quality, It literally takes me 25 seconds to plug in, no power required... Just set up before I plug in.
More features than a a set of Pioneer dex... I can DJ from customers tables... Or even the dunny if I want.
One problem... The software hasn't had anyone seriously maintaining it in years.
Cross DJ you suck.... But are the only ap close to being useful.... Atomix.... Big place for you to move into if you want to invest in a open door.... And as I have with you before... (I offer for years to them) I will beta test no charge...
I want a small load in to a venue with more features than $3k of Pioneer gear... I want my library in my pocket, so I can listen to any part of it on the bus, because I built my library over 25 years and I deserve to use it, at my pleasure. It's safe in my pocket and not at home... (aside from many backups I have). I know you have remote, but there's latency in that too.... My Samsung S22 ultra sits idle for my entire set, I can reloop, loop, play samples and club promos, I can apply live effex like flange and filter. I can bandpass mix or apply eq to both dex live, I can search my library, or just a folder. I can scratch. View my loops, 10 or so cue points... Just a pity it has stupid bugs no one will fix like the cue and play buttons don't display correctly so cue looks like play ect, sometimes the cover art don't appear, other times it does, you can't load samples to the sampler unless you manually add them as ogg files in your file Explorer...
Big opportunity here... The smallest DJ box on earth!
