Anyone any good at Scripting ?
I'm sure most wedding DJ's who use VDJ will appreciate this.
I colour my tracks already.
However I also colour the do-not-play tracks to warn me
However sometimes that conflicts
A "go to tune" will be a don't play. so that will already be coloured green for example.
Using something like User1 or User2, can I colour the tune with my don't play colour, say purple, only whilst the User2 field has DONTPLAY in it and back to it's colour when it's not - so like conditional formatting ?
or is there already a better way of doing this ?

Color rules are applied from top to bottom.
So, make sure you put them in correct order.
Also, you can include multiple rules, like:
Rule1: Condition A ? Conditon B ? purple
Rule2: Condition A ? red
Rule3: Condition B ? blue
Because the combined condition (rule 1) is on top of the others it will take priority over the other two.
So, rules 2 and 3 while "true" when rule 1 is also true, won't get executed / apply color.

Better would be to tag user1 of your DNP tracks with "DNP"
then make a quick filter
That way you won't even see you DNP tracks while the filter is on
then make a quick filter
User 1 is not DNP
That way you won't even see you DNP tracks while the filter is on
