Topic: Stemswap issue
This might be me being daft but, if I record a sample on deck 1 and try to trigger it on deck 2, with stemswap enabled, it just records another sample from what deck 2 is playing. What am I missing?

maybe you're on the per-song bank?

I also experienced this, I guess the per song banks are something specific?

per-song is a special bank that lets you associate a samples set with a particular track.

So each track starts with an empty per-song bank, and what you put inside, will show again next time you load this particular track.

so the pads on deck A will have the samples associated with the track loaded on deck A, while the pads on deck B will have the samples associated with the track loaded on deck B.
(and if you load a new track it will change the samples on that deck)

Thanks guys, but I'm on the My Bank option in the sampler. It's not urgent for me, so I'll wait for the next update and hope that fixes it.

I would try to start by labeling each my bank, then go and lock that bank. on deck 2, make sure you are on that locked bank and check the option to play on triggered deck. Also, check your sampler volume level. Once you start creating multiple My Banks, you will be glad you gave each their own name and always lock when done. Hope this helps! GL!

another possibility I can think of, maybe your bank has more than 8 slots, and you have samplerSpanAcrossDeck set to yes (which is default when upgrading from vdj2024), so that the bank on deck 2 is showing samples 9-16?
Look on the skin in the pad section, if you see 9-6 under the bank name?

Just installed the latest update and it's fixed the issue. It now works as expected.

Thanks for the responses.
