Topic: b8344 crashes when trying to use LoudMax VST3 effect on the Master Output
My machine: M1 MacBook Pro, 16 GB RAM, 1TB hard drive (2020 model)

Problem:

Trying to start LoudMax from the list of plugins, when the LoudMax VST3 version is installed, immediately crashes VirtualDJ (b8344) (you can check my most recent crash logs - the crash was consistent). It works fine for the VST2 version, and for both VST2 and VST3 for the current stable release (b8336) and earlier.

It may probably be related to the changes that were made as per this line of the changelog for (b8344):

After update to b8344 - VDJ crashes with Bertom Denoiser VST Plugin on MB Air M3 16GB Ram Sonoma.

Going back to b8336 - VDJ crashes also (Before update to b8344 - VDJ is working all fine.)

I have to uninstall VDJ completly, Remove the Settings Folders and install from the scratch.

This is one of the worst betas i used since 2008!
Which setttings must be changed in the settings.xml to get VDJ working again with b8336!
 
I have found that under b8344 my VST3 Plugin "Bertom Denoiser" is now "incompatible".
Why? It's working for over 2 years in VDJ without any problems.

Thats a regression in VDJ
Please fix it ASAP!

I understand the issue and struggle with the same problem regarding Waves VST3 plugins on a MacBook Pro M1. However, I would like to defend the VDJ team at this point: Firstly, it is an Early Access Build, and secondly, there are almost endless VST3 plugins from different manufacturers. Even though the interface is standardized, there are surely many pitfalls that arise from the immense number of combinations of hardware, operating system versions, and VST plugins, which need to be identified and resolved. The manufacturers don’t always get everything right either. Give the team some time and, in the meantime, use the current version. I also hope for a quick fix! As an IT professional with over 35 years of programming experience, I can say that, in my humble opinion, they are doing a pretty good job here! Let’s hope it will be quick :-)
 
Should be fixed with build 8346
 
Just verified with b8346 my VST Plugin Bertom_Denoiser is working without crashing VDJ.

I can also confirm that b8346 has fixed the issue for Loudmax as well.
 
Windows 11 Last Vdj Build .
Baby Audio 2 v1.0 , When I select a new Preset , the Controller stops Midi for 2-3 Seconds , when I close the Presetwindow the Buttons blink short and the controlls works normal .

And by many other VSTs Virtual DJ crashes when i load the Plugin and open the GUI , when I load it again and first starts Track and aktivate the Effect , and open then the GUI then it works . When i load it next again it crashes again . At example , Cradle -Orion , Yum Audio - Slap , or Accentize-Chameleon Surround 1.0 . And others
