I am setting up a new computer. On the old computer, all my files were stored on the D drive. On the new computer all the files are stored on the C drive. How can I change all the files to be seen on the C drive so I do not lose all my cue points and other settings?

-use the database backup function on the first computer
-recurse or add to search db the music folder on the new computer
-restore the database backup on the new computer

I did that, I think, and now no files are showing. Nix that. I will try again the right way!

I think I might have it. It is now restoring about 1% per minute. I will report back in an hour and a half!

It worked pretty well. All but 79 files have been restored with correct information. Thak you very much Adion for your help. I do not usr VDJ professionally, but is the best $299.00 I have ever spent!
