In the current latest version (v2024 b8095), every time I start virtualDJ, duplicate songs in the side list are deleted.
I am not sure if this was the case before, or is this a spec change? Is this a bug?
Also, is there a setting to leave the duplicates as they are?

I have a problem when starting VirtualDJ.
It automatically deletes duplicate songs.
Before it didn't delete them automatically.

I can confirm that Sidelist.. does remove duplicates between sessions of VDJ.
Automix does allows for duplicates to remain between sessions. (behaves differently then Sidelist)
this above tested with option disableDuplicateForNewLists set to both Yes and NO
(don't think this option applies to Sidelist, yet still exploring the new features of VDJ 2024)
Also setting the option
browserShowSideviewInLists YES
allows one to see/use the R-click menu for the both automix and sidelist, in "My Lists", to show info about order, and duplicates.
It seems that that sideview sidelist, after a restart, always returns to the state of:
[ X ] No Duplicates
[ X ] Keep sort order
and
sideview automix, after a restart, always, returns to the state of:
[ . ] No Duplicates
[ . ] Keep sort order
neither of the lists, sideview automix OR, sideview sidelist, keeps their setttings between sessions.
possibly this could explain why automix always allows duplicates between sessions..
and sidelist, does NOT, allow duplicates across sessions.
again the above is not affected by the state of the option disableDuplicateForNewLists

I set sidelist and automix to My LIST management in this setting and the problem was solved!
I'm not sure if this is a spec change or a default change, but it is confusing when things change from the previous version.
We will see how this goes for a while.
