Hi all,
I have a stem mapped to the beatgrid effect. I would like it to only activate upon being pressed. Tried numerous things but to no avail.
padfx "Beat Grid" "stemfx:MeloRhythm"
That's the command I want ONLY when the Pad8 is pressed on STEMS

Apologies, I meant I want it to be active ONLY when held down

have you tried:
since "smart_pressed", is smart.. and has 2 different actions..
Toggles if quick press or Temporary if longer press.
assume you were doing the quick press and got the toggle action.
(and maybe you may still prefer the smart_press since you have choices)
down ? padfx "Beat Grid" "stemfx:MeloRhythm" on : padfx "Beat Grid" "stemfx:MeloRhythm" off
