Tiktok is hugely popular, please add this so this statement can be true ! "Video broadcasting direct to main social platforms"

If you read through the Video Broadcasting section of the User Manual, you'd already know that this is possible (in theory), as TikTok also allows streaming via the RTMP protocol. Quite a few social media platforms are already supported as direct selections (Facebook, Twitch, Youtube are a few). A non default platform would be handled by "Other".

I say "in theory" because there have been reports of incompatibilities with other platforms (kick was the one I think that there was a report of issues). If you haven't already tried to stream using the info in that manual, perhaps you should try to get it working first and if there are issues, report it on this thread.
 
Maybe it is time to rewrite that manual and change the services inside Virtual DJ (Periscope for example no longer exist since two years ago). I have been streaming to Facebook, Youtube, Instagram and other services but would love to stream to TikTok as well, sadly I got no clue how to find a transmission key in this platform.
 
I am currently trying to figure out how to stream li e in tik tok using vdj and I have hercules console..where it is good quality and not just speakers playing through a mic lol..help
 
Try this out :

1. Obtain your TikTok RTMP credentials

1 Open TikTok (on desktop browser) and click “Go LIVE” in the left rail.
2 Choose “Streaming software” (sometimes labelled “PC/Console”).
3 Copy the Server URL and Stream Key that appear.

Typical format
URL: rtmp://global-push.tiktok.com/live
Key: abcd-1234-efgh-5678

TikTok’s current ingest limits (July 2025): 1280×720 @ 30 fps, 2 500 – 4 000 kb/s video, AAC 44.1 kHz 128 kb/s audio.

2. Configure VirtualDJ for RTMP output
1. Settings → Broadcast
2. Set Type to “Video + Audio”.
3. Under Destination pick “Other (Custom RTMP)”.
4. Paste the Server URL and Stream Key you got from TikTok.
5 Match TikTok’s limits:
Resolution: 1280 × 720 (or 720 × 1280 if you prefer vertical and your hardware can rotate output).
FPS: 30.
Video bitrate: 3 000 kb/s is safe.
Audio codec: AAC 128 kb/s, 44.1 kHz.

6. Press Start Broadcast. VirtualDJ will handshake with TikTok’s ingest.

TikTok will show a preview; once you’re happy, click “Go Live” on TikTok.
