My name is james,can you confirm?. If i buy the £299 version,can i download any version of Vdj that i want (i prefer older versions) and use any mixer that i use in future? (licence will always be activated),

People who had VDJ7 as Pro still have access to it currently, but it will be removed soon. If you buy a license now you will have access to the current version and previous builds back to build 7032 (July 2022). Not sure why you'd want old versions anyway.
The Pro version includes future updates for hardware that is actually supported (no way of knowing if a mixer you buy in the future will be)
Another point is that "older versions" won't support newer hardware, but you know that already?
