After reading a post about netsearch not providing lyrics in the video editor, I decided to have a play around.
Normally when I use the video output, I display a camera. When I play an audio file, it doesn't affect the video output (camera feed still visible).
However, when I load an audio track in the video editor and overlay text, playing this blacks out the camera feed and just displays a black screen with the text on it.
I was surprised by this, as I was expecting just the text to be displayed (with transparency) over the camera feed (as I chose "overlay text").
Also I noticed there are text efffects available here that are not in the normal 'Text' FX overlay (which does actually overlay text).
