Hey guys, I'm wondering if anyone can offer some advice. I have a Traktor Kontrol S3 that I have just retrieved from storage and starting to have a play around with scratching again after a few years of my equipment collecting dust.
The issue I have is the crossfader seems to have a leak. when I look at the mapping it reads -0.01 to 0.96 in range. Traktor basically have no software that is compatible to re-calibrate it from what I can gather, they only offer firmware update for the device and no mapping software for this particular controller. to I'm unable to re-calibrate the crossfader. I wonder if there's a way to adjust the crossfader calibration from with Virtual DJ, or would anybody be able to help with creating a script for a custom crossfader curve to replicate the scratch curve but for this limited range. Would that work?
I'd be extremely grateful for any support with this.
Thanks

you should try bast it with compressed air, it could just be dirt
script to work around it.
param_smaller 0 ? crossfader 0 : param_multiply 1.041666 & crossfader
