Hello I am building https://www.opticaldj.com and was wondering if the DJs that use virtual DJ would be interested in the product?? Would you want to use a 2 dimentional controller for your turntables?
Some DJs have said to me it looks amazing but some have not. So please would virtual DJ support this 2D DJ device if and when it comes out?

If it spits out HID then a pro subscription for a month you could write a definition file yourself.
I have to question how it would cope under humidity and strobes.
And I'm not sure how a floating tone arm would stay put under bass conditions with no down force.
Maybe lower it to a close tolerance and a clamp to hold the arm in place.
Why not have some kind of track on the platter a wheel can roll in, contact noise isn't an issue?
I'm not sure using a tone arm as a lever is desirable, why not use the 45 well as a mounting point?
