I've been using the awesome VirtualDJ for some time now (probably since 2015). The first time I used it, it came with some cool samples like siren and applause. I have upgraded since then and somehow these have been lost. Did I do a bad upgrade or are they no longer available? Any help on this would be useful.

All the default samples are available from config/expansions/samples.

I'm on a mac. Just recently downloaded VirtualDJ for the first time and was having issues with the samples. I could see them in the menus but when I clicked on them, they weren't playing. After checking all my settings and not having any affect, I started downloading some other free samples and they were working. I noticed that the downloaded samples came down in zip files.
So, after zipping all the sample files by group and putting them with the other downloaded zip files, all the sample files worked.
