Hi guys, is it at all possible to be able to get the search function on the XDJ-XZ in control mode? I want to be able to search for tracks without having to open the MacBook. I’ve tried mapping it but have failed many times.
Also I’ve managed to find a hack to use stems on all 4 channels, I did this using the DDJ RX with the XDJ-XZ, would this work with a smaller 2 ch controller that could be tucked away or is there a better & more convenient way. Thanks in advanced you guys are smashing it, keep up the good work.

No, there's no possible way to use the "stand alone" search function in "control mode"
The device itself doesn't support it. As also all similar Pioneer equipment (like CDJ2000NXS2)
