Topic: Controller pad response time

How do I improve the pad response time ? I am using Virtual DJ Pro infinity and Pioneer DDJ SZ

Check the latency in the Pioneer control panel.

Lower latency gives a better response time.
 
Are you sure it's the hardware response time and not some setting you have accidentally enabled in VDJ ?
In which Pad pages you notice the delay ? Hotcues, some other ?

Probably just quantized cues.
Try turn off smart cue at the small dot next to hot cue pads in the software
