Topic: RANE 72 RANE 12 Issue - Page: 2

This part of topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information

So they switched back and forth between serato and vdj with no issues If that's the case sounds like virtual isn't reading the twelves Next thing I would try is a windows pc with the twelves and see if that works I'm just trying to help you narrow it down as much as possible

I appreciate and I’ll try any and everything. Gonna run and grab a windows laptop.

All I can tell right now is that it's not supposed to work like that as you can see from the video I posted.
I will try later with my MAC as well, but I don't have an ARM MAC.
So, while I'm going to do a test with my MAC, please do a test where Serato runs on the ARM based MAC (the one on the right) and VirtualDJ on the intel based one (the one on the left) and let me know if the problem still occurs.
If that's not possible, then try to run VirtualDJ on the new MAC via Rosetta.
I'm asking you to do these tests just to ensure that it's not a M1 (ARM) incompatibility issue.

I will come back to you later today once I test with my own MAC

So basically I can’t can’t use my 12’s with 2 djs is what your saying??

On the contrary, I just demonstrated that it should work switching between PCs without any issues at all.
(Just to make it clear)

The something happens.

I can confirm it is a MAC only issue.
We are doing some tests right now and we will fix ASAP

Thank you!!

Is this an M1 thing or just all Mac’s in general??

As I said I don't have a M1 MAC.
It's a MAC issue, and it doesn't matter if it's M1 or Intel MAC

Any updates on this??

Just asking because I need to know if I have to use a different setup tomorrow....

Not sure, but I only see one computer pluged in to the setup.
When switching source, you dont have anything (program) to load from, could this be an issue?

I guess you haven’t watched the videos, eitherway I’m waiting for someone from the team to respond because it has been confirmed that there definitely is an issue going on with the Mac side of VDJ….

We're still investigating the issue but we might have a test build for you tomorrow
