my macbook pro just updated automatically to new OS 10.15.7 and now my virutal dj does not open please help!!

I have attempted to download any version of virtual dj for mac. My OS is Catalina and I just did an update last night. Prior to the update, virtual worked great. After the update, I couldn't and still cannot open the program. I am an active DJ and need to reactivate the program ASAP. Please help.

I received this email today from Virtual DJ they are great my Virtual DJ works now!!

Hi,

please try to reset the software:

Close VDJ 8 then browse to your DOCUMENTS->VIRTUALDJ folder and delete (or rename if you want the option to revert later) the SETTINGS file.

Next please download the Early Access Version from here and install it.

This will solve the problem.
