I use VDJ to spin videos on a Macbook Pro. In order to save space, all my videos are 360p h.265 video files.
I ordered the new 2021 M1X Pro MacBook with 8TB of storage so I can upgrade my video quality and not have to worry about storage. Once I get the new MacBook next week, I'll transfer my library over. But I want to replace all the 360p video files with their 1080p h.264 versions.
I already have all the files, and they're all the same filenames as the 360p versions (just in a different folder). Is it as simple as replacing the smaller files with the larger ones? Will all my cues & bpm information be preserved?
