Hi folks,

I was wondering if playlists are handled as a query, so they can update if a new item is added inside the playlist criteria eg 2020-2021 Hits? Or is it an absolute Db static list?

Secondly, if I trigger a playlists from Event Scheduler on a remote machine, is there any way to force the 'shuffle' option?

the script is "playlist_randomize" I don't get the first thing you're asking.
 
The question is not really clear

Playlists (as well as virtual folders) are static lists of links to track files
Not related to DB

If adding a filter folder with criteria to a playlist this will only add files present at the time the add is done
Anyway, adding it again only updates the new added files (no duplicated)
but this is a manual operation (can be scripted though using playlist_add)
