Is it possible to have a stems created for track then cleared i.e not stored when new tracks played, is that not what "resetstemonload" is for?

restStemsOnLoad is like reset eq
precompute manual is what you want

That still keeps the stem file, also you have to "manually" compute it, can you not have one computed as you load but removed when another track loaded?

Just use the default "Create manually" then.
It will compute the stems in memory when loaded, and doesn't store anything when the track is unloaded.

A kind of "pre-compute Stems" temporary ?
Currently dynamic stems are created in memory but not saved when using "create manually"
The other hand written stem files (automaticaly or manually created) can't be deleted
No "delete pre-computed stems" (per file or per folder) in menus

If i use this, right click precompute stem, it leaves the stem file i.e 15Mb or more file even when unloaded.
