I get this message when trying to open Virtual Dj 8.........directX failed to initialize. please install the correct drivers for your video card dx11 error 351:8007000e

it means install updates for your video card.

Thanks, I restarted my laptop and now it's working fine again. However as I say I am not technically minded so I would not know where to start to update sound card, cheers.

If no dedicated Nvidia/AMD card, just keep your Windows up to date.
And run this https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html from time to time
Can also visit your computer brands website, and find the model you have.
And update any drivers from there.
