Topic: Need a new controller

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I've been using the Denon MC6000 since... well, forever. Mine finally got too old and stopped working, and I've purchased a used one that also went bad. I'm now retired, but still do a couple jobs a year. I need a new controller that works well with VDJ, but don't want to break the bank. Tips? Thanks!

Denon DJ MC7000 , Denon DJ MCX8000 might be familiar to you as "upgrades" from MC6000
Depends on budget, but plenty of mid range controllers that are popular and works well...

- DDJ-400
- DDJ-800
- DDJ-SR (or RR) (or SB/RB if budget)
- DDJ-SX (or RX)
- Numark Mixtrack series (platinum and FX are fairly new and very budget price)
etc etc etc

Too many to mention all, so much to chose from these days, and they all do the job fine ;-)

I also need a new hardware USB mixer with 4 channels that have 5 dedicated knobs for stems. I can't find anyone?! Do you know of any hardware in production "soon" to be released? The ultimate would be a dedicated hardware for VDJ.
