For some reason virtual DJ will not save my database, every time I unplug my hard drive and shut down my laptop!
I Reboot it up again, plug my hard drive the database is not saved. I always have to add to search database every single time I go to DJ.
Please help:)

Make sure you have save/access permissions to external drives for VirtualDJ
Or easiest, give VirtualDJ full disc access

You added full drive access?
IF so, is it a Windows formatted drive, like NTFS drive where you added some 3rd party read only disc program to be able to use or something like that?
Can also check directly at the folder and database xml if you have permissions.

And just in case, make sure that "readOnly" setting is set to NO
