I recorded a whole two hour radio show in mp4 file. The file I got is not readable/ playable. I have tried VLC and Handbrake. No luck.
I really need to upload the show to youtube.
Any idea?
Please help!
Thank you!!

Likely a corrupted file then.. unfortunately.
Perhaps computer or drive had a bit of hiccups during writing to file during recording .. .
But just in case, could restart your computer so you can rule out the sound card stopped working, or is taken by some app ..
There are also some online tools that can attempt to fix corrupted files, but wouldnt expect miracles if VLC was not playing anything .. .

there is quite a chance the error is entirely hardware related, drive or corruption by the computer ..
Even you if shutting down abruptly etc or aggressive anti-virus software etc
Have had no issues with recording my end
I'm sure it will work fine next time you record ;-) rare to see any errors

If you want to send me a link I can see if I can salvage it with ffmpeg.
