Where do i set the sample rate, all my audio chain is 48 apart from this setting at 44.1

You could try the samplerate setting in options in virtualdj then, but there's a chance it doesn't support 48khz then.
Anyways, unless you recorded your music yourself, most of your music would be 44khz anyway no?
