Hi all - I am running VDJ on 2 computers - If I update one computer to VDJ 2021, can I still retain (not update) the other computer running ver 7? They are both linked to the same account. Any help much appreciated - thanks

You can update on only one computer yes ;-)
No problems with that...
And should you want to keep old, you can also update and keep old at same time.. at one or both computers.
To keep old, simply locate where VirtualDJ is installed and copy the program file to a new file and rename the copy something like for example "VirtualDJ 8" or any other name you perfer.
Then run the original executable that is not rename, and let it update ;-)
That way you have both old and new..
