I am posting as I have a Hercules RMX, but I am considering moving to a Pioneer SX, SX3 or a 1000.

Does anyone have any advice for me?

Anything will work with VDJ. Just look at the features and your budget to decide.
 
whats your budget and what is your venue.. Don,t forget there is always second hand too
