Can anybody explain how I can configure a 'Custom Button' so when clicked will display the 'Info Tab' of the CURRENT playing song - (NOT the browsed song). Have spent many hours trying to achieve this.

you could use
file_info
and use Esc to exit

Or... You could build your own info panel and open it with a custom button.
