Just pottering on default:Pro , I did a small edit to switch between pad_bank2 on skin_panelgroup 'pads_deck1', easy enough.
but then I thought about how to script to switch to panel name="@pads16_[PANELNAME]" in group name="area_fx"
I tried everything that I thought made sense but I haven't figured it, any pointers please?

Ah nevermind it took some poking about then I remembered the exact panel name is saved in settings
skin_panel '@pads16_deck1'
*edit* the [PANEL] placeholder means, I have to query action deck etc etc
skin_panel '@pads16_[PANEL]' would be nice, but scripting panels is super niche, so not to worry, I'm just happy I figure it out.
