What XML file?

You put Windows to Mac in the title but Mac to Windows in the text ?????

I guess he means the database.xml file.
If so, you should build up the same folder structure on your mac like on the windows pc.

Sorry, you'll need to explain yourself a bit better. Which XML file and what are you trying to do?

I would like to have my xml on my Mac exactly the same as my windows xml.
I had got what I needed to change on a piece of paper but lost it.
I know the script for xml is different

Sorry, but you're still not explaining what you want. Is it your database because if so the file naming protocol for Mac and Windows is different.

Are your files on an internal or external drive if so?

Want to start using Mac for gigs without have to redo all my file info

Not sure that's possible because Mac and Windows use different naming conventions.

Just copy your files and your database.xml
No need to change anything.
Then open vdj and recurse your music folder so that vdj knows the new location
