Hi I bought a virtual DJ Home Plus licence for my 1 controller but it still kicks me off after 10 minutes.
How do I activate the license?

Contact support.
It looks like you bought an Analog Mixer license instead of a license for your controller.
 
Does you Log In with Forum Username und Forum Password in the VDJ Software
,then your VDJ Pro Lizenz will activate.

When not you can test the VDJ Home Free Software onyl 10 Min.as a VDJ Pro.
 
I see that you have a PRO subscription
You should be able to use your account with any controller.
As they say right above, you should not be identified in the program with that account
 
I bought a Gemini GV4 and I want to buy VDJ Home Plus so I can practice to better myself before I can go Pro. Will this be a helpful way to go about it?
 
yes, no, maybe, it's a toss up.

home + is cheaper but is just for that controller [meaning no aux controllers and the licence kind of "dies" when you get another controller , and not for pro use.
pro is more expensive but "licensed for life", can use any controller that vdj supports, [the list is huge] and is for pro use.

I'm not sure if you still get a month trial, if you're committed, pro is the cheaper option in the long run. but if you're just getting started probably home+
