I can I have the month then date and year in this order ? with out going in the History and change it

manual I'm afraid, YYYYMMDD is the iso standard for writing dates and makes sense, if you list them by name they're in date order.
The US system MMDDYYYY is ok for ordering until you have 2 years, you could of course just include a created date field in your o/s browser.
