Hi.
I have the My Library plugin installed and it works great, my question is the Live Lists. I would like to create a compatible Live List of my 80s songs from 1980 to 1989, I would like to do this with all my years. Can someone please tell me how and what to type in when creating a filter folder. Thank you

Apart from the decade, in what way do they need to be compatible? If it's literally just the year, you can use the existing year filter folders from My Library.

Thank you for your reply The compatible filter folder says this Bpm Difference <2 and Key Difference <1 and exists = 1 and gets this information from the database. What I would like is say I am doing an 80s Night and I use the compatible folder it looks at the whole database can we create a filter folder so that it looks in the 80s folders instead of the whole database.

Just combine the filter from the 80s folder in My Library (or parts of it, it is quite long) with the filter from the 'compatible' folder.

Depends on your file structure, if all your '80s is on one folder (including recursively) just make a new filter in the 80s folder and use the compatible rules, making the scope folder recursive.
if your files are a few places as groovin says, make a filter with both sets of rules, since the '80s contains "or" use the compatible rules first

Hi thank you for all your replies this is what I have added to the compatible filter folder Bpm Difference <2 and Key Difference <1 and exists = 1 exists = 1 and Year >= 1980 and Year <= 1989 or title contains "80s" or title contains "80's" or file path contains 80s or file path contains "80's" or filepath contains "1980-1989"

Maybe you have no tunes that match try expanding the bpm & or key range.

You've got exists = 1 twice. Also anything that doesn't apply to your setup can be stripped out.
For me, all the "file path contains" stuff would be redundant because I know I don't have any folders named that way.

Ah yes no "and" between the two "exists = 1" that could be the problem.
