It was actually made for VDJ among others (check the video description) - simply by adding a driver that turns your laptop touchpad into a midi controller
Maybe not so smart since you often need your touch pad
But it already exists for VDJ - probably in several implementations
It's really just hardware sending midi 3 signals at once
Like 2 effect knob/slider adjustments + a message that the pad is being touched.
It can be used for for 1 effect or 2 seperate effects
VDJ doesn't really cares where the midi signals come from - it just acts on them
So you can for instance get the same kind of control on a korg nanopad2
That is by default mapped to handle the first and second slider of an effect in VDJ - but you can really map it any way you like

I have a same Nanopad2 (white) :-)))
I tried it but unfortunately it didn't work perfectly. The touchpad is much larger and more sensitive on my laptop. Just touch it gently to work. Nanopad only works when I press strongly. But if I press strongly, hard to slip my finger. So MIDI cc parameter not smooth enough...

Hey this is what I seach for control Sliders on a Plugin with a Touchpad.
But no with a Nano Pad , I have only a Mouse Touchpad on my Bluetoth Keyboard.
But these are not Midi , these are HID controllers..
Have also longtime ago seen this little Prog , but it is not avaible more.
A Prog how this is a good Idea.
Or a Funktion in Virtual DJ to map Commands on HID Touchpads .

Then something may be wrong with it I think
I just tested mine and I feel that I only need to slightly touch it
