Hi. Has anyone found when plugging in ipad/iphone/external source to line in on Pioneer DDJ - 1000, the volume output is a lot less than the usb output. All external sources are on max volume etc etc etc. All possible checks made. Seen some other users having same problem. Anyone had any luck with this issue as Pioneer are a bit useless in resolving this.

Yes, I realized that point too. My turntable with a strong line out even with the gain at full gets a pretty weak signal.

I had a poor input gain from VDJ on mine even though VDJ was outputting at maximum 0db.
Had to constantly increase the gain on every track during a gig, never found a solution.
Never have to do that with my Denon MC6000 MkII.
Part of the reason, along with the rubbish microphone channel, I sold mine last November.
1st and last time I will own Pioneer equipment (don't believe the hype kids).

You can always set your zerodb setting to something like -6db or -9db in order to lower the sound of the digital interface on the same level with analog

Of course an iPda or iPhone is going to have a lower level. Those are consumer devices, not pro audio equipment.
