Topic: VDJ crashes when I choose timcode

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I use Virtual DJ in version v8.3 b4592 on a mac book pro 2,8 GHz Intel Core i5 16 GB ram. If I select "Timecode" in the settings, vdj crashes immediately.

Is it because of the version?

If so, please fix it as fast as you can

Dev Team will have a look shortly at the uploaded crash report.
BTW, with which sound card are you trying to add Timecode Inputs ?
If its the DDJ-SX2 i see in your account profile, have you first tried to enable the DVS mode from the DDJSX2 DVS Pads page ? If not, click on the DVS ON Pad

Also, before selecting the DVS mode and apply the Timecode inputs, see if selecting the factory default mapping helps

Hi djdad,

so I tried it with the factory settings (with ddj-sx2) but synonymous unsuccessful. If I select "Timecode" in the settings, the virtual platters are not displayed, the mac book display turns into black and the mac book pro shut down and restarts. Same with the DVS mode from the Pads page and the VCI-300.

Looks like an internal problem in the software.

Greetings

Martin
