Topic: Annoying yellow flagged error files

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

How the hell can i get rid of these yellow flagged files that says error on deck? I've cleaned my database still they keep coming back. Thanks

Default skin shows these files as red.
 
If they are showing up in a playlist or virtual folder, right click and select relocate, then point to the correct path for these files
 
They are showing up when i recurse main folder. These songs have been deleted yet they still show up.
 
In that case the clean database option should indeed remove them
 
No it doesn't. Using a mac by the way. I deleted my database and use default settings still they remain. Extremely annoying.
 
OK. i found the problem. The files are actually in some virtual folders and showing up when i recurse my main folder. I have playlists with error flagged files (because the songs are on an external) and they don't show up when recursing main folder as it suppose to be. How can i solve this?
 
Move the virtual folders to somewhere else maybe? If the files in there are only from the external drive, perhaps it's better to move the virtual folder to the external drive?
