When you have multiple devices, such as 2 xdj 1000mk2 and 2 plx turntables, how can each device be assigned to a specific deck number permanently when all are linked to mac and sx2. I have to always turn on each device in a specific sequence so they assigned to the deck I want them to represent.

Use a USB hub so you can plug them in all together?

I use a USB hub, all work fine, but for example if I turn on one plx vs the other, or one xdj vs another, the first xdj that turns on will go to deck 1 and next time will be deck 2, so I have to remap all the devices. I have PLX as deck 3 and the other as deck 4. But depending on which I turn on first it could end up reversed.

Then the simple answer is to turn them on in the order you want them to appear.
It's a simple queue system, the first device will take the first available slot and so on for the rest.
