How do you go about setting levels for external line/phono sources??
Do faders 1/2 switch to 3/4 when you use the deck selectors?
I looked in the manual but couldn't find an answer.

Yes they switch, but you must have a 4 deck skin, so you are able to see the what's going on. Your faders will have to be brought down, to engage the faders for decks 3/4, which will show on the skin. Switching back to 1/2, you will have to repeat the fader action, to control these decks.
