Can the Automix be played on 2 decks ? Why one 1 deck ? It makes no sense .

Both approaches have their uses - nice thing about single deck automix is you have another deck available for pre-listening or something else, even in a 2-deck skin.

Two deck automix also doesn't play nice with controllers or external mixers.
With an external mixer you have to remember to open volume on both channels when activating automix.
While mixing vdj would then move the crosssfader internally, but this wouldn't match the controller's cross fader, which can add more confusion when you want to disable automix.
With one deck automix can just take over the deck that was already playing and you can prepare to take over again on the other deck.
