Would a turntable that has USB interface with VDJ without the need for a DVS audio interface? AKA I don't have to connect via phono.
Specifically these decks: http://www.epsilon-pro.com/turntables-djt-1300-usb-silver.html
+ a simple two channel mixer
Thank you

I reckon it would work - after all the idea with DVS is just that the audio from the vinyl has to get to the computer, so it shouldn't matter how.
The only issue you might have is with latency, because of the A to D conversion (possibly a non ASIO interface).

The USB Output will route Timecode signal to the computer, so you can add timecode 1 & 2 in your VDJAudio setup, using those TT USB outputs (inputs. for VDJ)
But then you need to send deck 1 and deck 2 (from computer - USB or Built in Audio Interface) to an the external mixer, so you still need a sound card with at least 2 stereo outputs to feed the mixer's inputs.

I'd direct questions to epsilon, the tt's may be just usb out (from deck to machine, thus needing outputs from the machine to the mixer) or the tt's might have usb in & out (deck to machine back to deck to mixer)
