Let me first say that most of the time I am able to read between the lines, but I'm not sure about this. My question is if I subscribe to the Audio Plan will I be able to play this music over the internet legally and is there a certain VDJ licence I will need?

Yes, and you can use it even in combination with a VirtualDJ Home license.

You can legally use the Content Unlimited for internet radio, but the catalogue is quite limited according to recent posts on the forum.
Broadcasting can be done in the free home version, but if you are broacasting to a "professional" radio server then you will need a Pro licence or subscription. Not sure exactly what the limitations are in the free version but that's what it says in the comparison chart.

So what are other options besides Content Unlimited that are not to expensive?

Buying actual music instead of using a service?
