Not sure if anyone has reported this, but I just noticed that "Load Security" is not working. I'm using the mac version 8.2b 3994. I'm not sure when this started. I just casually use my system anymore, so I have just update when I use it.
I have a mid 2009 17" Macbook (I know its old) Pro running Yosemite. I normally casually use it for corporate AV work using a small DJ to Go controller and haven't seem this issue recently. I hooked up my VMS4 (first edition) today and noticed the issue, even though I'm not sure it's related to the problem, but I'd figure I'd mention it.

Before someone asks, I did check the settings. I tried the "On" and "Silent", Also, I restarted the software.

You need to have the on screen deck fader past a certain percentage for security to kick in. Check this as there isn't a volume fader on your controller.

There are a total of four volume controls on the DJ2GO. Master, headphones, deck A & deck B.
The VMS4 also has volume controls. [edit] actually, if the VMS4 setup in VDJ is using "external mixer" mode then VDJ won't know where the hardware faders are.

Load security works by detecting if a deck is live on-air or not.
Therefore, if a deck has it's channel fader in closed or almost closed position (0 to 10%) the load security will NOT prevent loading of a new track.
When using an external mixer audio setup there are 2 cases:
a) The connected device provides MIDI feedback to VirtualDJ (fake mixer actions) and
b) The connected device does not provide any MIDI feedback.
On case a everything works as mentioned above (load security works if volume is greater than 10%)
On case b load security is always active since deck volume faders are considered to be on 100% all the time and decks are "always live on air"
