Topic: Crossfade slider working in wrong direction

Hi

I use multideck crossfade on automix during dinner etc.

With my old, very basic controller, it worked fine.I bought a Denon MC7000 recently and the crossfader moves to the left for the right deck and to the right for the left deck.

Although this is not much of an issue it would be good to have it working correctly.

TIA for any advice

Was set to no, changed it to yes. I'll see what happens over the next few tunes.

CrossfaderHamster, how are we meant to know what that is?

It now tries to cross to correct side then jumps back again.

That's kind of a general DJ term. Like crossfader or beatmixing

Are you sure your crossfader assigns are setup correctly?
It's the little A-Thru-B sliders just above the deck faders.

Often you set them up to handle the 2 main channels, so that deck 3 and deck 4 is thru (which bypass the crossfader), deck 1 is set to A and deck 2 is set to B, and then the CrossfaderHamster is set to no

Ok, but they only assign how the crossfader works, and the crossfader is reversed for some reason without being set to it,
So what makes you say that they work as expected?

With either A or B selected the manual crossfader works as expected

Super. So there there is no reverse problem when you setup when A or B is selected properly for the crossfader?

Yes the crossfader works perfectly when using manually.
