Is it just my lappy or is it a fault in vdj 8.2? Windows pointer snap to default not working. It's checked in pointer options and was working fine until i updated it to 8.2.

I've never heard of this. What is the Windows pointer snap?

I guess it's this:

"Reduce mouse movement with Windows' "Snap To"
Stop dragging your mouse pointer halfway across the screen to click on a dialog box.
With "Snap To" enabled, Windows will stick the pointer right where you need it automatically."

I hadn't heard about it either
I'm not sure how a change to that feature can be because of VDJ8.2...

Let me try to explain. Windows have these settings in mouse properties, There you can set the mouse pointer to automatically move to (snap to ) the default button in a dialogue box. This option comes into play for example when you are cancelling a screen and that security box pops up asking are you sure you want to, the mouse pointer will now already be on the no choice instead of of you dragging it there. In VDJ when you try loading a song on the active deck the security pops up "A song is already playing...are you sure you want to stop it?" the mouse pointer would already be on the yes. In 8.2 the pointer no longer moves to the security box. I've tried it on different pcs just to make sure. Its not working like that anymore.

Top tip, enter/escape keys can be used for ok/cancel respectively.

Yeah Loco, I know. But I'm use to vdj being flawless to the smallest of details. Hope they fix it soon

Current VDJ versions no longer use the OS specific dialogs and controls, so windows would have no idea where to place the mouse pointer automatically (or even that we were showing a dialog and that it needs to do so) which is why this windows feature no longer works. It would be possible to implement our own version of it, but I'm not sure there would be much demand for it?
