Topic: CDJ 400 Sound Setup w/VDJ 8.x

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I've searched high and low in the VDJ forums and Wiki pages and can't seem to find what I'm looking for. Can somebody please post a screen cap of the VDJ 8.x sound configuration for a pair of CDJ400s? Naturally i'll be using an external mixer (DJM-400). I'm using the windows version of VDJ 8.x. Also do I need to install any Pioneer drivers or will it be plug and play? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys and gals!

Appreciate the effort however this isn't what I'm looking for. Need a screen cap from version 8.x .... The sound setup in 7.x and 8. are completely different.

No it really isn't that different. Obviously the appearance of the VDJ GUI has changed, but the settings you need are the same.

You need to use an external mixer setup, and select the output of deck 1 to feed the audio interface of CDJ #1, and the output of deck 2 ditto for CDJ #2.

I'm surprised you need to ask. You've been here almost as long as I have. :-)
