Is it possible to get waveform previews in the browser (similar to RekordboxDJ)?
Thought there maybe be a way to make a skin with the feature but its not looking good.
Is this something we are going to have to keep our fingers crossed for in a future update?
Its not a game changer by any means but would be a nice feature :-)

Waveform preview in the browser (like seeing in the browser a preview of the track's waveform the way you see rating for an instance) is not possible at the moment.
You may ask for that on our wishes and new features forum

Having the waveforms showing in the Browser, would require those to be stored as images in the Hard Drive (when the track is analyzed). Even though this is technically possible, and the size of the modern Hard Drives quite big to store them, could someone explain how handy/useful that would be ?
Yes, i have seen those in Rekordox (and in Serato i think), but really curious on how those can be used in real life other than seeing something graphically nice. Would you choose/look for a track based on its waveform ?

I agree with djdad - IMO it's just style over substance. It looks nice but what practical use is it?
Maybe I'm old fashioned. Vinyl never had a waveform display, and DJs managed to perform perfectly well with it for many decades. :-)
