Topic: How to cut out remix versions in search

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

anyone having issues with version other than just the single your looking for ? if so do you know how to get rid of this feature ? Thank you in advance.

You could use a filter folder set up to exclude anything that has the word "remix" or "mix" in the title....

Alternatively you could tag your files with something like "original version" and then include that in your search.

I'm not sure if it's the solution you're looking for, but I mentioned this issue previously, but I don't think I was as polite about it. What has worked for me most of the time is to scroll though the search results and look for the tags (clean) (single) in the title, and then listen to a few spots on the cue to see if it's what I'm looking for. As I said, most of the time it is what I'm looking for.

Put your search term into quotation marks. That will search for exact that pattern.
