Anybody who has connected a Numark Mixtrack Platinum with a new MacBook Pro using the Thunderbolt-connector? I want to use a cable Thunderbolt to USB-B. Anybody knows wether that works?

I Have a thunderbolt connection on my windows laptop and I have converted it with a little adaptor to standard USB and it works great with anything i connect to it, including mixtrack 3. Though on my laptop its a combined thunderbolt/usb c type connection.

Cool :) standard USB will be phased out over the next couple of years and everything will be thunderbolt and USB C according to the technology companies. Data transfer speeds are massively increased, so makes sense to have audio interface on your thunderbolt connection, which in your case is in your controller.
