Virtual dj is not remembering my play count is there something I am doing wrong?

You need to play enough of the track as specified in historyDelay setting and also the deck fader has to be above a certain level for it to register.

Thanks for answering me I keep my deck one in deck to theaters around nine and keep my master volume lower does it have anything to do with the slider being in a certain position and how long or where do I go to adjust that setting in options

Yes, it's to do with the slider position but you can't change the setting. Can't remember what it is but has been covered before on the forum many times.
